I'd never bought a Kalmus edition of music before, but I'm very satisfied with it. This edition doesn't have all sorts of changes by the editors; it's very true to Saint-Saens.It arrived on time and in perfect condition - thank you to the shippers!This is an absolutely phenomenal piece of music. I am loving learning it; it's definitely a difficult piece, but it's coming all right so far. Not for the faint of heart or the average pianist to learn; it is very technically difficult. I can't wait to finish learning it, though! I am entering a concerto competition with it... and I have a feeling this piece is definitely a winner, so long as I can learn it completely on time.EDIT: I ended up buying the Schirmer edition because the Kalmus edition's music was so cramped. It doesn't have notes by the editors, true, but it also doesn't have any fingering suggestions, and the notes are so small it's incredibly difficult to study and write in. I would recommend getting a much larger edition because of the nature of the music, particularly during the long runs and arpeggiated sections. I wouldn't buy Kalmus again for anything... they are cheap, and that is about all they have going for them. Sorry guys.
