Very useful text for planners with interest in the legal aspects of the profession. This text has well-organized case studies that are easy to read and explain pitfalls and precedents in land use regulation. Would make a nice reference text for any planning desk.

This book got me through my land use law class. Clearly organized and thorough in all explanations. Definitely keeping it on my bookshelf for my career in urban planning.

I bought this book for a college class. It is a fairly easy read though repetitive. The authors have provided many added helps via websites.

I used this more than I used the text. It was simpler and had nice, clear, breakdowns of substantive issues.
